1. What is KABAYAN-Unlimited?

KABAYAN-Unlimited is a prepaid monthly telephone service for people living in the USA to call their loved ones in the Philippines at a low, fixed, monthly rate of $39.99 + $5 regulatory recovery & servicing fee-- with NO contract -- and best of all, UNLIMITED calling!

2. How does it work?

KABAYAN-Unlimited gives you UNLIMITED calling from the USA to a beneficiary that you choose-- loved one, friend, etc.--in the Philippines.

To call your beneficiary from the USA simply use your registered phone and follow these 2 easy steps:

Step 1: Dial Local Access Number *
              (this number will be given to you by Lunex customer service)

Step 2: Press 1 + (#) key.

*Calls made through Hawaii's local access numbers will be billed additional half cent per minute from customer's pinless account. Calls made through toll free access number will be billed additional 2 cents per minute from customer's pinless account. If you enter beneficiary's complete phone number, you will be charged at regular pinless rate.

3. What phones can I use?

Phone in the Philippines

  • When you sign up for KABAYAN-Unlimited, you will have the option to select either a WIRELESS or a FIXED landline phone for your beneficiary in the Philippines.
  • Bayan Telecommunications, Inc. will then deliver the phone to your beneficiary within 2-7 days.
  • These high-quality phones come with a 6 month warranty and ensure that you stay in touch with your family in the Philippines!
  • You must purchase either a WIRELESS or FIXED landline phone for your beneficiary...they will not be able to use their existing phone with KABAYAN-Unlimited.
  • Their new phone will come with great calling features, and will make a wonderful gift!
  • Your loved one in the Philippines will be able to use their new Bayan Tel phone to make unlimited local calls to any landline phone within the same area code.
  • They will also enjoy unlimited outgoing and incoming calls to all Bayan Tel landlines in the Philippines!

Phone in the USA

  • Register up to 3 phones in the USA including landline and mobile numbers.
  • Then simply use any one of your registered phones to call the local access number + 1 #, and you're connected instantly!
  • To add or remove phone numbers from your account please call Customer Service at 1-888-333-2404.
  • When using your landline phone, check with your landline phone provider that the local access number you dial has no long distance charges -otherwise you may incur charges with your landline provider.

4. Who can subscribe to KABAYAN-Unlimited?

If you live in the USA and have loved ones living within the Bayan-coverage areas in the Philippines, then KABAYAN-Unlimited is the ideal plan for you!

  • Choose a WIRELESS landline phone for your beneficiary, and you will be able to contact them even when they are on the go!
  • Or, choose a FIXED landline phone and still enjoy all the benefits of unlimited calling!

6. How do I sign up?

There are many easy ways to sign up for KABAYAN-Unlimited.

  1. Sign up with any Lunex Reseller or Agent
  2. Apply online at www.KabayanUnlimited.com
  3. Apply with Lunex Customer Service at 1-888-333-2404.
  4. After your application is received, it will be verified, and a Lunex representative will contact you to advise you of the status of your application.

7. Do I have to sign a contract?

No contract to sign! KABAYAN-Unlimited is a monthly prepaid service plan.

8. How much does it cost for the service?

When you subscribe to KABAYAN-Unlimited, you will need to pay a one-time set-up fee and your first monthly service fee.

The one time set-up fee includes either a WIRELESS landline or FIXED landline phone unit for your loved one in the Philippines.

Each month thereafter you simply pay the FIXED RATE monthly service fee and enjoy UNLIMITED calling to your chosen beneficiary in the Philippines!

9. How can I pay for my service?

There are 3 easy ways to pay for your service:

  1. In person with any of our resellers or agents.
  2. Online at KabayanUnlimited.com
  3. Call 1.888.333.2404 to speak with one of our 24 hour Customer Service Representatives.

10. Can I have my monthly payment automatically deducted from my bank account or with a credit card?

Yes! Please call Customer Service at 1-888-333-2404 to enroll in Auto-Pay. Please have your debit or your credit card information ready.

11. When does my service start?

Your plan will start and end either on the 1st or the 15th of the month, depending on when it was activated.

12. How is my first month payment calculated if I don't sign up for service on the 1st or the 15th of the month?

Your first month payment is prorated so that you only pay for the days you have the service.

13. What happens to the money between the day I sign up for service and the day my service is active (when beneficiary receives phone unit)?

Once your service is activated, any credits (extra money) will go into a pinless account for you to call anyone else in the Philippines or worldwide.

14. What happens if I fail to refill, when does my service plan get suspended/ terminated?

  • Failure to refill your KABAYAN-Unlimited plan before 12 A.M. EST of the refill due date (one day prior to the 1st or 15th of the month) will cause the account to be suspended.
  • Once the account is suspended, you will have a grace period of one business day to refill with NO FEE before the account is terminated.
  • Failure to refill after the grace period (5 PM EST on the 1st or the 15th) will result in account termination.  A reconnection fee of $20 will apply if you wish to reactivate the account.
  • Once the account is terminated, the Beneficiary' s phone will be disconnected, too.

15. How can I reconnect if my service plan gets terminated?

Using anyone of our simple Payment Methods:

  1. Visit any Lunex Reseller or Agent nationwide.
  2. Pay online at www.KabayanUnlimited.com.
  3. Call Customer Service at 1-888-333-2404.
       A reconnection fee of $20 will apply if you wish to reactivate the account within 30 days from the terminated date. All of your data (USA registered phone numbers, beneficiary's information, ect.) will still remain in Lunex's system.
       If an account is not reactivated after 30 days from the terminated date, and you wish to use the Kabayan Unlimited service, then you will have to go through new order process, including purchase a new phone for your loved ones in the Philippines.

 

16. Will my beneficiary in the Philippines have to pay anything for KABAYAN-Unlimited?

No!  There is absolutely no cost to your loved one in the Philippines, because you have already prepaid for the service in the USA.

19. Can my beneficiary use their WIRELESS / FIXED landline phone to call me in the USA?

No, KABAYAN-Unlimited offers one-way calling from the USA to the Philippines only.

20. What is the return/exchange policy?

There is no refund or return policy. However, you are allowed to change Beneficiary’s phone unit within 15 days of service. The fee will be applied as the following:

  • $20.00 for changing from one WIRELESS Landline Phone to another WIRELESS Landline Phone.
  • $50.00 for changing from FIXED Landline Phone to WIRELESS Landline Phone.

21. What if I want to make a change to my service like change location or change phone number?

You may make changes if your beneficiary moves, or wants to change phone number.

The following fees apply:

22. Can I get a copy of my call records for immigration or personal reasons?
